BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — A 15-year-old has been arrested after joking he had a gun at school.
Police say the boy attends the Forbush School, a Sheppard Pratt Facility that provides services for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Police say the boy had been placed in a “timed out” room and told Forbush staff that he had a weapon. Police say he then said he was joking about having a gun.
Police responded, found that he did not have a gun and took him into custody.
The boy has been charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing school activities.
