Tuesday night during The Bernard Pollard Show at Two Rivers Steak and Fish House in Pasadena, the veteran Ravens safety had some complimentary things to say about his teammate Joe Flacco.

Flacco, Baltimore’s fifth-year QB, has had his share of detractors during his career. But, according to Pollard, you won’t find any of them in the Ravens locker room.

As a matter of fact, Pollard thinks Joe Flacco has yet to reach his full potential and is ready to blossom into one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL.

2012 has started nicely for Flacco and the Ravens as they clubbed the Cincinnati Bengals 44-13 on Monday Night at M & T Bank Stadium.

In the game, the Delaware product was 21-29 for 299 yards and two TD’s. Those stats were good enough to earn Flacco AFC Offensive player of the Week honors.

I have predicted that Flacco will throw at least 30 TD passes this season and Monday night’s performance is a sign of things to come.

Big numbers from Joe may surprise some people. I won’t be one of them.

Most importantly, it will not be a surprise to the people who matter the most.

His teammates.
