BALTIMORE (WJZ)—He’s the newest star on the surging Orioles. But even after getting the game winning hit in Thursday’s 14 inning marathon, Manny Machado is reminded he is still a rookie.

When the 20-year-old rookie sensation found a white tutu hanging on his locker, he knew it was his turn.

A photo shows the third baseman leaving the ballpark for the team’s West Coast road trip, walking proudly in his tutu and  feather headband.

This humiliation came on the same night Machado was slapped with an old fashioned shaving cream pie from teammate Adam Jones.

The entire ordeal is part of the baseball tradition of hazing rookies.
