Anne Arundel County Police Seek Suspect In Attempted Abduction In Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ)-- Anne Arundel County police say a 27-year-old woman was the victim of an attempted abduction in Glen Burnie.

Police say the incident took place on Monday at 9:42 p.m. at Fifth and Delmar Avenues when a male suspect driving a white work van approached the victim on the side of the road. The suspect tried to pull the victim into the van but the victim managed to run away. She was not injured.

Police patrol, K-9 and aviation units searched the area for the suspect but were not able to find him.

Police say the suspect was a Hispanic male about 30 years old with short black hair. His vehicle was a white work van with a ladder rack holding a ladder, tinted windows and a sliding side door.
