Homeless Duo Charged With Stealing From Businesses
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Westminster Police have arrested a homeless couple they say stole $1,400 worth of jewelry from two businesses.
Thomas Michael Kline, 36, and Amber Lynn Howard, 31, were arrested Wednesday and have each been charged with theft. They were released on bond.
Police tell the Carroll County Times that the pair stole from Sidetracked Antiques & Design and the Carroll Arts Center. Officers say Howard distracted store employees while Kline took jewelry from cases.
