Initial Baltimore Police Reports Reveal Suspect Being Arrested Died After Swallowing Drugs
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A preliminary investigation by Baltimore police into an arrest reveals how the incident turned deadly.
Police say a 46-year-old man was being arrested on Montford Avenue and Biddle Street on narcotics charges when he swallowed the drugs in his possession.
The suspect was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner's Office is yet to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the death.
