New Numbers Show Women Earn Less Than Men In Maryland

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- New numbers were released about earning power between men and women in Maryland. Women are still trailing their male counterparts.

A new study finds females were paid $0.86 for every dollar paid to males last year.

Men earned about $8,000 more each year.

The gap in Maryland was smaller than that of the United States as a whole, in which women are paid about 77 percent of what men make.
