BALTIMORE (WJZ) — With just two games left in the regular season, Orioles fans are still hoping the Birds finish at the top of the AL East. Excited fans are on the edge of their seats as the Orioles try to take care of business down in Florida.

Jessica Kartalija reports fans can’t wait to snatch up Orioles playoff tickets.

People can’t wait to get their hands on playoff gear.

As the Orioles legends look on, crews at Camden Yards prepare for a possible home playoff game.

“They need to play here and have the home-team advantage and hear all the fans and get all the support that they need,” said one.

Fans searched online for tickets to a potential divisional tiebreaker between the O’s and the Yankees.

“I’ll take as many as possible,” said one fan.

“We just got tickets to game two and game three of the division series today so we’re really excited,” said another.

At the Orioles store inside the park, fans stocked up on playoff gear.

“I’ve watched the Orioles since I was in middle school and I’m 40 this year. I have waited and waited and waited for this time to come back. It’s been 15 years since they’ve been here. I’m a die-hard Orioles fan,” said a fan.

“I just got a playoff hat and just for the Orioles to support our team,” said another fan.

While many will be watching on TV, those who have tickets are waiting to see where the O’s are headed.

“I will try to travel wherever they go,” said a fan.

“Potentially we get to the World Series,” said a fan.

We could go all the way. Tickets for a potential tiebreaker game against the Yankees on Thursday were only on sale for two hours and only in our region. The idea is to pack Camden Yards with Orioles fans, not Yankees fans.
