ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A 30-year-old man has pleaded guilty negligent manslaughter in a crash in Arnold that killed a woman.

Tyler Stewart of Baltimore entered the plea on Wednesday in Anne Arundel Circuit Court. He will be sentenced on Dec. 5.

Prosecutors say Stewart was speeding when he ran a red light on Ritchie Highway on July 5, 2011. The Capital of Annapolis reports that his car hit a vehicle in which Lois Feick, 71, of Arnold was a passenger. She died at a local hospital. Her husband, who was driving the car, survived, but was seriously injured.
