SNOW HILL, Md. (AP) — A man convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of a West Ocean City bar owner has been sentenced to a year in jail.

Cyle Walker, 27, of West Ocean City was sentenced Friday in Worcester County Circuit Court.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that Walker had been convicted in July in the death of 63-year-old Carey Flynn, the owner of 707 Sports Bar & Grill. Walker and Flynn scuffled on Oct. 6, 2011 after Flynn found Walker urinating outside the bar. The two fell, and Flynn died later at a hospital.
