BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The Metropolitan Opera in New York, or The Met, is taking its show on the road. The Met streamed a live opera in to The Charles Theater of Baltimore Saturday afternoon.

Throughout the opera season, 12 shows are fed in to theaters all over country.

The Met hopes offering these high-definition shows help the art form grow by giving movie-goers a taste.
