LA PLATA, Md. (AP) — The Maryland Natural Resources Police says a southern Maryland man fell to his death after climbing a tree to get to his hunting stand.
The Baltimore Sun reports Albert Attanacio Castro, 62, died Sunday after falling about 21 feet. Police said the accident happened on Castro’s property near Dentsville in Charles County.
Police said Castro had medical issues that might have contributed to the accident. An autopsy is planned.
