All Lanes Of Capital Beltway Are Open After 2 Tractor-Trailer Accidents

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- All lanes of the inner loop of the Capital Beltway have reopened in Bethesda following two separate tractor-trailer accidents.

Maryland State Police say both trucks were leaking fuel, which had to be drained before they could be towed. Police say both vehicles have now been cleared.

Traffic was delayed throughout Friday morning. Earlier in the morning, television images showed cars at a standstill on the roadway.

There were no reported injuries.
