Steve Goldman from SB Nation joins Haynie & Zinno to talk about the upcoming World Series matchup between the Detroit Tigers and the San Francisco Giants. Goldman previously touches on the Giants easy game 7 win against the Cardinals and gives a preview of what he expects to see in the series. He predicts that the Giants will have a better showing on offense but the Tigers will be more powerful on defense as they have a stronger batting rotation. He reflects on the 5 game series between the Yankees and Orioles and notes the irony that the Orioles relied so heavily on their bullpen which was unfortunately disappointing throughout the post season. Goldman comments on the possibility of seeing the Nationals playing in the World Series, had the franchise played Stephen Strasburg.
