Body Found In Wooded Area Of Abingdon Identified

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ/AP) -- The Harford County Sheriff's Office has identified the body of a man found in a wooded area of Abingdon.

Deputies were called at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and found Laron Tavonte Bell in the 1300-block of Harford Town Drive.

Bell had been reported missing by his grandmother on Sept. 15, 2012. Bell, who lived with his grandmother, was last seen leaving his girlfriend's house Sept. 9 at about 4:30 p.m.

The sheriff's office says detectives found no obvious signs of foul play. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause and manner of death.
