Rockville Woman Accused Of Falsifying Drug Tests

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- A Rockville woman who worked for a federal court contractor has been indicted on charges that she took bribes to falsify drug tests.

Lauren Jeannette Diggs, 50, was indicted Monday and arrested on Tuesday after the indictment was unsealed.

According to the six-count indictment, Diggs worked for a company that provides alcohol and drug treatment services. Prosecutors say Diggs and others sought and took bribes for performing and not performing court-mandated drug testing, and providing fake discharge certificates.
