Employee Pleads Guilty To Theft From ARC
GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- An employee of ARC of Prince George's County has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $166,000 from the nonprofit and its clients.
Thirty-four-year-old Penny Parker Green of Bowie entered the plea on Wednesday. She faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison at sentencing March 18.
According to her plea agreement, Green used her ARC corporate credit card to pay for trips and electronics. Prosecutors say she also directed other employees to withdraw cash from clients' bank accounts for her personal use.
