SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Police have charged the father of a 4-year-old who fell from a 9th-floor apartment window in Silver Spring.

Christopher Keith Harley, 30, of Temple Hills was arrested Oct. 26. He is charged with child neglect and leaving a child under the age of eight unattended. Harley was released on bond.

Police say on Oct. 11, the boy fell from the window. He remains hospitalized in serious condition.
