City Workers Being Investigated For Scrap Metal Theft
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- More than a dozen city transportation workers could lose their jobs for misconduct and theft, after stealing thousands of dollars worth of scrap metal.
Authorities say the employees sold about $58,000 worth of stolen metals over a five-month period.
Twelve transportation workers have been recommended for termination, while three supervisors have been suspended without pay.
A full investigation is now underway.
