I know there’s been some criticism of John Harbaugh for the fake field goal.

They were leading 41-17 in the 3rd, so the game was well in hand. However, this isn’t Pop Warner. What do you do?  Take a knee.  You keep playing.

The defense gives you something, you take it.  Same with special teams.  They showed you a look, and you took it. It keeps your players engaged in everything you do in practice, because you show them, if you work on it, we’ll do it.

My only concern is whether or not this hurts them later in the year if another team thought they could sneak that look by the Ravens and we could have used it in a tighter game.  That said, I have no problem keeping the foot on the gas.
