Dan Connolly from The Baltimore Sun joins Haynie & Zinno to talk about Buck Showalter's Manager of the Year nominee. Although Connolly says he anticipates the voting to be close between Showalter and Oakland A's manager, Bob Melvin, he says the work Buck Showalter did with the Orioles on and off the field is undeniable and predicts he will ultimately walk away with the award. Connolly also talks about possible free agents joining the Orioles and addresses the big rumor that Josh Hamilton will be joining the team. Connolly says he cannot confirm any free agents joining the team, adding he does not see the franchise breaking the bank for Hamilton but suggests Nick Swisher might be a good pick up for the O's.
