Man Who Accused Elmo Puppeteer Of Sex Abuse Recants

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The man who accused Sesame Street's Elmo puppeteer of sexual abuse is changing his story.

According to the man's attorney, the unidentified man is now recanting his story about Maryland native Kevin Clash.

The man had accused Clash of beginning a sexual relationship with him while he was underage. Clash said their relationship was consensual and began after the man was an adult.

The 52-year-old recently took a leave of absence from Sesame Street.
