Parent Arrested For Taking Gun To School Meeting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — City police have arrested a parent for taking a handgun to a school meeting.

It happened at the Academy for College and Career Exploration on 36th Street in Hampden.

Police say Rodney Parker, 39, was heading to a disciplinary meeting with his son when he dropped a 22-caliber gun.

He was arrested without incident on a handgun charge.
