BALTIMORE (AP) — Maryland casino regulators say they might move hundreds of used slot machines to the Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort from two larger casinos to make room for table games.

The Maryland Daily Record reports that the Lottery and Gaming Control Commission discussed the matter with casino executives Thursday in Baltimore.

Hollywood Casino Perryville wants to remove 500 of its 1,500 slot machines. Maryland Live! says it wants to remove some of the 4,750 slots at its casino in Hanover. All those machines are owned or leased by the state.

Lakes Entertainment Inc. says it plans to have 550 slot machines and about 10 table games at the Rocky Gap resort near Cumberland when that casino opens in June.

Regulators say they’re seeking to balance slots and table games.
