WEATHER BLOG: Quiet Weather Continues Through The Holiday
There is a front about to move across the state Tuesday night. There is the slightest chance for a shower with the front as it moves through, but the little moisture it even has is breaking up as it moves east. There is just such dry air over us.
Behind the front, we will trend toward more sunshine and higher temperatures. So it is still looking really nice for Thanksgiving with a high in the upper 50s/near 60. The warm air will hang on into Friday, before another front comes our way Friday night.
This next front is going to be a little different than the current one. It won't have a lot of moisture, but will have much colder air behind and will flip up our weather pattern into early next week. Highs will go from the low 60s to the 40s with gusty winds. And in western Maryland up through the Great Lakes, this is going to kick off a lake-effect snow event.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving everyone!
