Body Of Chinese Woman Pulled From Potomac River

GREAT FALLS, Va. (AP) — Montgomery County police say a Chinese woman visiting relatives in northern Virginia has been found dead in the Potomac River.

Police say no foul play is suspected in the death of 53-year-old Karjia Jiang, whose body was recovered Friday morning.

Police say the woman, who was staying with relatives in Great Falls, told her family she was going for a walk in Great Falls National Park.

It’s not clear how or where she entered the water, and the circumstances of her death remained undetermined Friday evening.
