PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — A car explosion at a Baltimore County auto shop sends one person to the hospital.
It happened at a Mr. Tire store in the 7700 block of Harford Road in Parkville.
Authorities say a car that was being repaired accidentally caught on fire, burning an employee. That victim is now being treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews were quickly able to put the fire out. A hazmat team is now on the scene for possible chemical runoff.
