WASHINGTON (AP) -- A wintry storm is bringing light snow to far western Maryland and cold rain across other parts of the Mid-Atlantic.

The National Weather Service says less than an inch of snow had been reported in far western Maryland by late Tuesday morning. Light rain and cloudy skies were reported across the rest of Maryland, Delaware and northern Virginia.

The storm was expected to bring up to four inches of snow to parts of eastern Pennsylvania.
