WHITE MARSH, Md. (AP) -- Police say an Edgewood man is dead after he was struck while standing next to his car on a highway in White Marsh.

The Baltimore County Police Department says the crash happened at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday on Pulaski Highway near Reames Road. Police say Kenneth Lee Stanley stopped his car in the median, got out of the car and was standing near it when he was struck by another car. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene. The car that hit Stanley also struck two other cars.
