WEATHER BLOG: Sunshine On Its Way

The cold front came through Sunday evening with a little rain. There is the chance for a spotty shower or two as we move into the overnight hours. Otherwise, expect clouds and fog. It will be mild while all of this is going on, since temperatures really aren't going to drop that much. Then, those temperatures start jumping Monday.

We began to warm it up Sunday with a high of 56 degrees, but it's getting even warmer Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s both afternoons. Morning fog and clouds will mix with some afternoon sunshine Monday afternoon. Patchy fog on Tuesday will give way to more sunshine, that is before clouds return with an approaching front later Tuesday into early Wednesday. There will be another round of showers and spotty rain with that front, too.

When that front clears us, we return to more typical early December temperatures. Highs will drop through the 50s Wednesday with gusty winds, then we don't get out of the 40s Thursday and Friday.
