Woman Pleads Guilty To Fatally Stabbing Student
CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- A former student at Frostburg State University has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the stabbing of another student outside an off-campus residence.
Shanee Lynnette Liggins, 24, of Waldorf entered the plea Monday in Allegany County Circuit Court. The Times-News of Cumberland reports that she was ordered to home confinement while a pre-sentencing investigation is conducted.
Kortneigh McCoy, 19, of Baltimore died Nov. 6, 2011, of multiple stab wounds. The two women had argued before the stabbing.
