ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A Baltimore man has been sentenced to six months in jail in a car crash that killed an Arnold woman.

Thirty-year-old Tyler Stewart Durant, who pleaded guilty to negligent manslaughter, was sentenced Wednesday.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that according to his plea agreement, Durant drove his car through a red light in Arnold on July 5, 2011. His car hit a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Jack Feick, causing it to hit a third car.

Feick’s 71-year-old wife, Lois Feick, a passenger in his car, died at a local hospital after the crash.
