We are lingering in the murky weather right now with some fog. The good news for us today is that after the early morning fog and any spotty drizzle, we look to break into the warmer air and breaks of sunshine this midday and afternoon. Our flow will even turn around to the south and southwest as low pressure moves from near Toledo, OH right now to Montreal, Quebec this evening. The cold front trailing this low will move into our area around midnight tonight and could bring a shower to parts of the area. The front will stall to the south tomorrow morning, then the next low pressure area that moves into the Plains tonight and starts to strengthen as it tracks to somewhere in northern Indiana tomorrow evening, we lift the front back northward as a warm front and bring clouds and some light rain and drizzle rain back into the picture tomorrow.
The deeper overrunning appears to be to our north tomorrow midday and afternoon into early tomorrow where
the steadier and more significant rain will be. We will spend most of the time tomorrow with temperatures hovering in the upper 40s. The low center will move to near Buffalo, NY Monday morning, then farther to the northeast during the day Monday. The warm air will return to our area as this takes place Sunday night and Monday with temperatures probably rising into the middle 60s Monday afternoon across most of the area. There can be some fog, drizzle and a shower tomorrow night, then maybe a shower in spots Monday morning, but the main band of rain/showers which can also have a thunderstorm will come in later Monday into Monday night as the cold front trailing southwestward from the departing low moves across the area. This front will deliver much chillier air for Tuesday and Wednesday.
