SEVERN, Md. (WJZ)— A man remains in critical condition after a physical altercation with a friend in Anne Arundel County.

David Lamont Harley, 45, of Severn, is being treated for life threatening injuries at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Last Thursday morning in the 8000-block of Fair Breeze Drive in Severn, police say Harley got into a fight with a male friend.

When police arrived on the scene, Harley was found unresponsive on the ground.

Detectives interviewed several witnesses and gathered evidence. The circumstances surrounding the victim’s injuries are still under investigation.

The suspect is known to the victim and was interviewed as part of the investigation.

Charges will be determined at the completion of the criminal investigation and in consultation with the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office.
