BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Another accusation lodged against former Sesame Street puppeteer Kevin Clash.

Pat Warren has more on this new allegation.

A fourth accuser claims the Baltimore County native had sexual contact with him when he was a teenager.

Baltimore County native Kevin Clash captured the imaginations of children and adults as Sesame Street’s Elmo. Now his personal character is once again called into question.

Cecil Singleton and two other men have accused Clash of sexual contact while they were minors. Now a fourth man tells attorney Jeff Herman, Clash flew him to New York when he was 16.

“In the apartment Kevin told him he was the voice of Elmo. He gave him special attention, treated him well but unfortunately it then turned to sex. My client then was involved in sexual contact with Kevin Clash for about three to four days,” Herman said.

Last month, Clash resigned from Sesame Street–before the two latest allegations were made.

“What these men are alleging is all consistent with each other in terms of their alleging they met Kevin Clash, who was sort of a father figure. One of my clients even called his relationship a father-son relationship with Kevin Clash. This particular victim says Kevin even said he would be a dad to him in New York,” Herman said.

Herman represents three of the accusers. Clash has not commented on the latest allegations.

The first accuser recanted but reached a settlement with Clash. The others have filed suit.

All three lawsuits allege civil, not criminal violations.
