ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are questioning suspects in a Harford County shooting.

The incident occurred late Wednesday night when a resident heard gunshots at an apartment in the 3300-block of Churchville Road in Aberdeen.

When state troopers arrived, they found one suspect standing in the parking area. The 38-year-old from Havre de Grace was taken into custody without incident.

Officers from the Aberdeen Police Department found another suspect at a gas station. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and claimed he was shot by the other suspect. The man is currently being treated for gunshot wounds at Shock Trauma. He has been identified as a 37-year-old Aberdeen resident.

Witnesses said they heard the man screaming that he knew his former girlfriend was inside an apartment with the other suspect. Moments later, shots were fired and the two men and a 30-year-old female left the scene.

The woman is being questioned by investigators.

The names of the suspects have not been released due to potential criminal charges.
