Baltimore City Fire Truck Involved In Collision, 5 Injured

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Baltimore City fire truck was involved in a collision in West Baltimore.

It occurred at the corner Edmondson Avenue and Monroe when the truck was responding to a fire in the 1600-block of Druid Hill Avenue.

One person was transported to Shock Trauma. The pump operator of a fire engine was also hospitalized there.

Three additional firefighters were transported to Mercy Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The collision and fire are both under investigation.
