We are stuck in the muck. Fog hasn’t budged Monday, occasionally giving way to light rain and drizzle. A dense fog advisory is in effect through Tuesday morning, since the fog is going to remain thick through then. There is also more rain and drizzle on the way, continuing into the first half of Tuesday before this storm gets out of here.
Winds will turn around to the northwest and really pick up Tuesday afternoon, bringing in drier air. Some sun will mix with the clouds. However, it will remain mild even behind this storm. Highs will get to the upper 50s Tuesday afternoon, then top out in the mid 50s again on Wednesday. Wednesday will also feature a lot more sunshine.
Another storm will move our way Thursday into early Friday morning. That one will not only bring another round of rain and wind, but more typical air for this time of year. Highs will only make it to the mid 40s this weekend.
Even colder air will move our way for the beginning of next week, making it feel a little more like Christmas outside for the actual holiday.
