Md. Woman Dies Of Injuries In Del. Crash
SEAFORD, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police say a Maryland has died of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Seaford.
Troopers say Mable M. Lake, 81, of Hurlock, Md., died Tuesday at Christiana Medical Center. She had been flown there after the Dec. 12 accident.
Police say Lake was a passenger in a car driven by Sherlmaine L. Jenkins, 51, of Cambridge, Md. Authorities say Jenkins was traveling north on Sussex Highway when she struck the rear of a car that had slowed for traffic.
Jenkins was treated and released after the crash. The other driver was not hurt.
The accident is under investigation.
