Howard Co. Crash Sends 1 To Hospital; Alcohol Suspected

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — A possible drunk driving incident is reported in Howard County.

Police say a man was driving too fast around the bend of Old Frederick Road at Md. Route 32 when he lost control. His car slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

That driver’s been identified as William Buell, 30, of Myersville. He was taken to Shock Trauma in stable condition.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
