WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Carroll County say two youths set fire to a wooden cross in the driveway of a Westminster home.

The burned cross was discovered late Sunday night.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says deputies determined that two juveniles were responsible. They were charged with second-degree malicious burning, racial or religious harassment and malicious destruction of property. They’ve been released to the custody of their parents.
