Four Seasons Hotel Rings In New Year With DJ, Special Rates

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- We are days away from ringing in the new year. In Baltimore, there are so many vantage points to see the fireworks downtown, including a relatively new waterside view.

As Mary Bubala explains, a wall of windows right on the water makes the Four Seasons Hotel in Harbor East an in demand spot to ring in the new year.

Hotel manager Sean McCarron filled WJZ in on the big plans to usher in 2013 in style.

"You feel like you are right in the middle of what is the epitome of what is New Year's Eve in Baltimore. The fireworks as they go off in two different locations when you walk right outside our doors onto the terrace area. It's so much energy, so electric, you get to party with the entire city of Baltimore," he said.

Baltimore's New Year's Eve Spectacular is a tradition that brings thousands to the Inner Harbor for the fireworks, music, food and festivities.

And at the Four Seasons, the countdown to 2013 includes special dinners at their restaurants, Pabu and Wit & Wisdom, along with a champagne toast, a DJ and dancing. You can even kick it up a notch and stay the night.

"You can essentially hit the button and take the elevator up to your home for the night. We have special rates that are included for New Year's Eve so guests can simply go up and continue to watch over the views of the Inner Harbor," said McCarron.

Make sure to tune in Dec. 31 for WJZ's special coverage of New Year's Eve. We will bring you all the fireworks and festivities live from Baltimore's Inner Harbor beginning at 11 p.m.
