WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) — A 78-year-old man has died after crashing his vehicle into Carroll Hospital Center.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas Carl Skipper, Jr. had an unknown medical injury and slammed his vehicle into the hospital’s sleep center just after 8 a.m. Monday.

Skipper was taken to the emergency room, where he later died from injuries.

No one else was injured in the crash.

The hospital has minor damage from the accident but remains open.

The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
