Happy 2013!
The New Year will start out with pretty uneventful weather. The southern front is going to clear us overnight, and the next couple of fronts will either pass off to our north or south. In between, the winds will kick up at times and temperatures are going to fluctuate, but nothing big is moving our way soon.
The first temperature fluctuation is going to be down. The wind picks up Wednesday, keeping highs in the 30s and making it feel like it’s in the 20s. We will drop to the low 20s overnight, with some colder areas in the upper teens before only recovering to the upper 30s Thursday. Winds will pick up again Friday, creating a wind chill in the 30s while our high climbs to 40. Then, we get some recovery.
Highs will climb back above average this weekend, in the upper 40s. That’s where we are going to hang going into next week. And at this point, it’s looking pretty quiet (at least weather-wise – know that’s not the case for the fans) for the Ravens game Sunday. We will keep you posted on that as we get closer.
