MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WJZ) — A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle several times on Pulaski Highway in Middle River.

Baltimore County Police said the incident occurred at the intersection of the highway and Holly Drive after 8 p.m. Saturday.

The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene.

The female pedestrian was pronounced dead.

After the incident, Pulaski Highway was closed for nearly an hour.

Police are continuing to investigate.
