Ravens Fans Get Fired Up For The Duel In Denver

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- In just a few days, the Ravens will head to high altitude for a chance to continue their playoff push. Excitement is ramping up for the team and the fans ahead of the big game in Denver. Wednesday night, supporters got to get up close with some star Ravens.

Kai Jackson has more on the suspense building all over Maryland.

The game is Saturday but if it were up to excited fans, the team would play right now.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and defensive back Lardarius Webb had an audience of fans as the duo appeared at the Greene Turtle in Owings Mills and WJZ-FM 105.7 The Fan Radio.

"Very excited, very excited. It's great to see the Ravens heading into the playoffs and an opportunity to see some of the players before the big game," said Ravens fan Michael Frazier.

The Ravens will have a ton of support as they play the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City. Rallies around town showed fired up fans.

"I think we're gonna win. Peyton Manning statistically doesn't do well with cold weather. He's played under 30 degrees three times, and he's lost all three games," said a Ravens fan.

And fan support wouldn't be complete without a little armchair quarterbacking.

"I think Joe Flacco needs to pass the ball to Ray Rice, letting him get some touchdowns," said Kenneth and Kaidon Edwards.

Before you watch the Ravens take on the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Saturday on WJZ, tune in for a WJZ special "The Duel in Denver" on Friday at 7:30 p.m. We will be live in Denver and here in Baltimore getting you ready for the big game.
