There is a front passing through the state. It has drawn moisture up from the southern storm, and is bringing a few showers with it. So there will be spotty showers Wednesday into the first half of night before that front gets out of here. Even with the front and the clouds that it’s bringing, the mild air continues. We are going to top out in the low 50s, then close to 50 again Thursday and Friday. That’s still about 10 degrees above average.
Friday’s front will also bring some clouds and spotty showers with it. It will try to lift out of the area this weekend, but it’s not going to be a clean escape. Some clouds will linger and even a possible shower Saturday with another chance of spotty showers Sunday. Meanwhile, temperatures will continue to climb. A huge storm digging into the West will pump up even warmer air our way. Highs this weekend will be closer to 60 degrees – which is 20 degrees above the average.
The warm air will carry over to early next week before reality sets in.
