Prince George's Death Suspect Arrested In D.C. To Be Extradited

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say a man arrested following a car crash is wanted in Prince George's County in connection with a Suitland killing.

Police say Leon Antauwn Wynn, 43, was arrested Friday night after officers spotted his vehicle and began following him. Police say Wynn fled on foot after crashing his vehicle into a fence in the 2000-block of Gales Street. Police say Wynn was being sought in the death of Jamal Rami Martin, 34, who was found dead earlier Friday.

Police say an unidentified woman was also found in the trunk of the vehicle following the crash. Investigators say she was not arrested. Police say Wynn admitted his involvement in Martin's death and has been charged with second-degree murder and other offenses.
