Incredible Hulk Raven Spreads Purple Pride Around Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—You may have seen it around Baltimore. It's kind of hard to miss.

Ron Matz has more on one incredible Raven who's become the talk of the town.

He stands 8'3" tall. The Incredible Hulk Raven wears number 52.

"It's definitely jaw dropping," said Garrett Morris. "Not many people expect it. Some little kids are afraid of it. It draws attention everywhere we go."

Glen Burnie's Garrett Morris made the hulk a Baltimore happening.

"I used to work in a movie theater, and they were going to throw it away, so I took it home and we turned it into the Hulk," Morris said. "We decided to take it another step. We take it out on the town for purple Fridays and bring it out for Manic Monday with you guys. We show it off, let people take pictures with it and have a good time."

Transporting the big guy isn't easy.

"It's relatively light," said Don Morris, of Severn. "It's about a hundred pounds. It's just the awkwardness and bulkiness of it. I've got a Chevy Silverado so we put it in the back of the pickup. We try to cover it. Otherwise we get a lot of looks driving down the highway."

For Ravens fans, it's the look of a Super Bowl champion.

"I definitely feel great as a Ravens fan," Garrett Morris said. "We beat Tom Brady and the Patriots and we're going to the Super Bowl."

"This is what the Tom Brady's of the world see when they look out over their offensive line," Don Morris said. "This is the alter ego of Ray Lewis when he's on the field. He's a beast, and I would be intimidated if I had to face that every down."

Garrett Morris tells Eyewitness News you can expect to see the Incredible Hulk Raven all around town during the next 12 days prior to the Super Bowl.
