Ravens Super Fan Receives Super Bowl Surprise After Video Goes Viral

BALTIMORE (WJZ)— Being a purple bird fan isn't easy, but somebody's got to do it. We met a Harford County fan who does it with passion—so much passion that he received the surprise of a lifetime.

Gigi Barnett has the story.

Watching the Baltimore Ravens take on the Denver Broncos, Ravens fan Keith Letourneau had a fit.

His wife Rachel recorded his dramatic reaction on a camera phone during the game and then posted it on YouTube.  The video went viral.

Since then, his team pulled it off twice against two elite quarterbacks for a trip to the Super Bowl.

On Friday, Letourneau got the third surprise of a lifetime.

"Two hats that you and your wife can maybe wear in New Orleans when we send you to the Super Bowl," said a representative from Barclay.

"What?" Keith Letourneau responded with excitement.

That's right. He's going to the Super Bowl.

"Oh my God, I'm going to lose my mind. I am going to lose my mind!" he shouted.

The credit card company saw his fanatic video shortly after it went viral.

"I know that we're going to win. This is a team of destiny this year," Keith Letourneau said.

He can scream as loud as he likes at the big game.

Ester Korbit may join in. The daycare provider will be far away from her "purple diva den" in Rosedale.

All things Ravens are in her personal purple palace, including a picture of Art Modell and team jerseys.

She'll be in New Orleans to bid farewell to Ray Lewis, one of her favorite players.

"For it to be Ray Lewis' ending his career, I mean how good is that? That's crazy," Korbit said.

The Letourneaus' trip to the Super Bowl is all expenses paid. The couple says the last time they went on a vacation like that was 10 years ago when they didn't have any children.

Tens of thousands of people have viewed their YouTube video.
